Holiday & Black Friday Sample Sales in LA 2026: Confirmed Dates
By Mereyah Smith · Updated October 20, 2026
Brands and showrooms clear out stock ahead of the holidays, so November and December are a great time to shop sample sales in LA. They're also when unconfirmed rumors spread fastest. This page lists only dates published by the hosts. We'll add more as they're announced, and the StealDrop SoCal calendar always has the newest ones.
California Market Center holiday sample sales
The CMC's official calendar lists Holiday Sample Sales in Building C at 110 E 9th St on these dates:
- Friday, Oct 30, 2026
- Fridays, Nov 6, 13 and 20, 2026 (Nov 6 listing)
- Fridays, Dec 4, 11 and 18, 2026
Entry is free and open to the public. Women's, men's and kids' showrooms take part, and each sets its own hours, generally from about 9am to 2pm. Showrooms are closed on Black Friday, Nov 27, so don't plan a Black Friday trip to the CMC. Bring your own bags. There's an ATM in the lobby, and parking is a flat $12 on sale days (CMC).
Black Friday itself
As of Oct 20, 2026, we haven't found any LA sample sale that a host has confirmed for Black Friday weekend (Nov 27 to 29). We won't guess. When a host announces one, we'll add it to the calendar and to this page. In the meantime, the weekly venues are the best places to watch:
- Eclipse Sample Sales (West Hollywood, DTLA, Irvine)
- 260 Sample Sale (Beverly Hills)
- Alternative Retail (Tustin, Santa Ana, Carlsbad, Corona)
Holiday shopping alternatives that are confirmed
- Rose Bowl Flea Market is held on the second Sunday of each month, so the next two are Nov 8 and Dec 13. According to Event Synoptic's market listing, general admission is $15 from 9am. Confirm on the market's own site before you go.
- Melrose Trading Post runs every Sunday from 10am to 5pm at Fairfax High School. Admission is $6 (MTP).
Holiday sale strategy
- Shop for gifts in the first hour, when the size runs are still full.
- Holiday sales are usually final sale, so buy gifts in forgiving sizes, or pick accessories.
- See our month-by-month calendar for the October and November picture.
